Police have arrested one of three men accused of sexually molesting a 16-year-old housemaid in Caloocan City late Thursday.
Superintendent Reynaldo Orante, Northern Police District intelligence unit chief, said prime suspect Eduard Jurap, 21, grabbed the girl when she went out of their sari-sari store to go to her house at around 3 a.m.
Jurap grabbed her arm and dragged her to an abandoned house where he attacked her while his two accomplices, identified only as Romy and Waway, served as lookouts.
The girl told the police that she was so frightened to scream for help because Jurap threatened her. The suspects fled afterwards.
She told her ordeal to her employer and she was taken to the police station.
Jurap was arrested the following day. He told the police that he was drunk. His accomplices are being hunted down.
