The activity, dubbed "Mega Job Fair," will be held at the QC Covered Walk on Nov. 21.
The fair is part of the citys government employment program with help from the Department of Labor and Employment and the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration.
Ignacia Santos Diaz Jr., head of the city governments Public Employment Services Office, said interested jobseekers are advised to call the PESO office at telephone numbers 925-6045, 921-2223 or local 294 to 296 for more details.
Diaz said a "one-stop shop" will also be set up at the fair for lucky jobseekers to help them with the pre-employment paperwork such as processing Social Security System numbers, Pag-IBIG housing and other services, PhilHealth applications, National Bureau of Investigation and police clearances.
To speed up applications, Diaz is urging job hunters to bring the basic requirements such as bio-data/resumes, extra copies of recent ID photos, school credentials and other pertinent documents.
To date, the city governments employment program has benefited over 7,700 since January.
