Tiangco made the announcement at the flag-raising ceremony yesterday at the municipal hall.
Tiangco directed the Office of the City Treasurer to make an early release of the bonus so people can start preparing for their Christmas shopping and avoid the holiday rush.
"We want to reward our employees for the excellent performance of their duties and for the good fiscal management. We also want to anticipate impending price increases as the holidays come nearer. This is also an early Christmas gift to the public servants as more cash gifts will be distributed in December," said Tiangco. Jerry Botial
