The three justices of the Sandiganbayans Third Division who were accused by former Makati City vice mayor Roberto Brillante of allegedly receiving bribes to dismiss a graft case against Makati City Mayor Jejomar Binay are still planning what action to take against their accuser.
In a press conference yesterday, Brillante alleged that Binay allegedly gave P10 million each to Sandiganbayan Justices Godofredo Legaspi, Efren dela Cruz, and Norberto Geraldez on Oct. 27 or three days before the division dismissed the graft case involving the alleged overpriced purchase of furniture and office partitions for the new Makati City Hall.
According to a staffmember of Dela Cruzs office, the three justices will still meet on Monday.
"They will meet on Monday to see what action to take," said the staffmember who declined to be identified. Mike Frialde
