Drug pusher gets life

For selling P1,000 worth of shabu to an undercover policeman two years ago, a drug pusher was meted life imprisonment yesterday by the Pasig City Regional Trial Court (RTC).
In his seven-page decision, Judge Librado Correa of Pasig City RTC Branch 164 also ordered accused Teofilo Ragodon Marcelino to pay a fine of P500,000.
Acting on a tip of an informant, Chief Inspector Jaime Santos, of the PDEA, coordinated with the Eastern Police District (EPD) for the arrest of Marcelino and arranged for the purchase of P1,000 worth of shabu on Sept. 18, 2004.
