Robbers hit e-Pass outlet

An e-Pass outlet along the Nichols Interchange in Pasay City lost some P10,000 in earnings to a pair of robbers yesterday, according to police.

Police investigators said a blue sedan pulled up at the e-Pass office at 4:05 p.m. One suspect barged into the outlet and poked a caliber .45 pistol at the security guard. He then ordered the teller to hand over the cash.

The robbers were able to take the outlet’s earnings for the day amounting to P10,000. They later robbed a passing Jack Liner bus.

Senior Police Officer 1 Ramon Pagaddu, case investigator, said they are tracking down the suspects. — Rhodina Villanueva
