500 grams of shabu seized in buy-bust

Two suspected drug pushers were arrested while 500 grams of shabu worth P1.6 million were seized during a buy-bust operation in Quezon City last Tuesday.
The arrest of Abdul-Azis Modin Bidara, 38, and Ashmeri Digandang Dilangalen,23, came a few days after elements of the police Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (AIDSOTF) confiscated ephedrine, the main ingredient of shabu, worth P100 million in Bocaue, Bulacan.
AIDSOTF commander Director Ele said Bidara and Dilangalen did not put up a fight when cornered by his men at the parking lot of a department store in Quezon City at about 8:30 p.m.
Eles men also seized a Nissan Sentra (TKB 452) used by the suspects in their activities.
Ele tasked Superintendent Eduardo Acierto, head of the Special Operations Unit 3 (SOU3), to go after Bidara and Dilangalen amid reports that they were behind the proliferation of illegal drugs in Quezon City and nearby areas. Non Alquitran
