A 20-year-old housemaid trying to enjoy her free time after receiving her paycheck found herself raped and later robbed by three still unidentified males the other day in Valenzuela City.
PO1 Amie Centro of the Valenzuela Police Women and Childrens Concerns Desk (WCCD) said the victim, a native of Bacolod City and staying with her employer in Barangay Lawang Bato, was also robbed of P1,700.
Investigation showed the young woman took her day off last Thursday afternoon.
While taking snacks at a burger joint inside a mall in Paso de Blas, she was befriended by three men. The victim said she ignored their advances.
Finding she needed a straw for her drink, she stood up to get them. No sooner than she finished her food and drink, the victim felt dizzy and lost consciousness.
Hours later, she said she found herself inside a house on Santiago street in Paso de Blas.
Though still dazed, apparently the result of a sleep-inducing drug, the maid said she felt someone on top of her. She tried to move, but had no strength left.
The victim said she later felt somebody trying to carry her into a tricycle, which brought herto Lawang Bato.
She then reported her ordeal to the police. Jerry Botial
