MPD probers verifying Sugays flight

Authorities are now verifying reports that Jose Noli Sugay, who is facing multiple charges after being tagged as the prime suspect in the killing of a Tondo driver last July 12, has managed to sneak out of the country.
Unconfirmed reports reaching the police revealed yesterday that Sugay was able to leave the country by taking a flight to Cebu and leaving the country through the southern islands of Mindanao.
Manila Police District investigators are now checking the veracity of the reports.
The Department of Justice has issued a hold-departure order against the suspect after charges of murder, two counts of attempted homicide and illegal discharge of firearms were filed against him for allegedly killing Aries Luriz, 27, during a parking dispute. Nestor Etolle
