Robbers hit Makati drugstore

Operatives of the Makati City Police Department (MCPD) are now in the hunt for six men who held up a drugstore in Makati City last Wednesday night.
Reports said the suspects hit a Mercury Drugstore branch at the corner of Zobel Roxas and Enriquez streets.
A still undetermined amount of cash was taken in the heist.
The incident took place happened at around 8:57 p.m. when the six men, initially posing as customers, declared a holdup.
Sporting long and short firearms, the suspects disarmed the security guard and took cash from the tellers and customers before making a quick get-away.
The robbers, on board a maroon Kia Pregio van, fled toward the direction of the South Superhighway.
Last Wednesday a group of men also held up a Mercury Drugstore branch in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City.
Police said the group responsible operates in southern Metro cities and Cavite.
They are now in the proess of getting description from witnesses in both heists. Michael Punongbayan, Rhodina Villanueva
