Makati to hold mega job fair

The Makati City government is set to hold a job fair in line with the month-long celebration of its 336th founding anniversary.

The city’s Public Employment Services Office will be in-charge of the Mega Job Fair on May 31 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the City Hall Quadrangle.

Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay said around 50 companies and employment agencies have confirmed their participation in the event.

Among the companies that will take part in the event include the SM Department Store and Supermarket, Pepsi Cola Bottling Co., Toby’s Sports, DHL, Advance Contact Solutions, Logicall, Let’s Face It, Max’s Restaurant, North Park Noodle House, Dencio’s Bar and Grill and Pancake House.

Binay expressed his gratitude to the business sector for supporting the city government’s effort to provide gainful employment and better opportunities for Makati residents. – Rhodina Villanueva
