Trader killed in Navotas

A businessman was killed by a still unidentified gunman as the former was about to leave his shop last Saturday afternoon in Navotas.
Superintendent Genesis Tolejano, Navotas police chief, identified the victim as Edgardo Dizon, 56, a resident of Novaliches, Caloocan City.
Probers said the suspect used a caliber .38 revolver, which he took with him as he fled the crime scene.
PO1 Dante Majadas, officer-on-case, said the incident happened at the corner of Daanghari and M. Naval sreets, Barangay Daanghari in Navotas.
Majadas said the victim has just boarded his owner-type jeep when the assailant approached him from behind and fired.
Dizon was hit four times in the nape and temple.
Dizons friend, Joaquin Pulumbarit, rushed him to the Navotas Lying-in Emergency Clinic, where the businessman was declared dead on arrival. Jerry Botial, Pete Laude
