Bakery damaged in grenade blast

A bakery was damaged by a blast caused by a grenade thrown by motorcycle-riding men near the establishment after midnight last Thursday in Taguig City.
Senior Police Officer 2 Francisco Saroña of the Taguig police Special Weapons and Tactics said the blast from the MK2 fragmentation grenade destroyed the accordion steel door and the window of the CSJ Bread House located in Purok 5, Barangay Upper Bicutan.
Saroña identified the owner as Crissanta Castillo, 53, a resident of Sucat, Parañaque City.
The office of the spiritual group Dating Daan, located at the second floor of the establishment, was slightly damaged.
Police said a barangay watchman Ernesto Baleroso Jr. saw a motorcycle with two men on board speeding away from the blast site at around 12:55 a.m.
