Napolcom bares PNP promotions

The National Police Commission (Napolcom) announced yesterday the promotion of three one-star police generals to the next rank and five full police colonels to one-star generals of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
Chief Superintendents Jesus Verzosa, director of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG); Irving Malunda, deputy inspector general for the Internal Affairs Service (IAS); and Servando Hizon, director for the Directorate for Comptrollership, all assigned at the PNP national headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City now hold the rank of directors.
Senior Superintendents Antonio Enteria, Jr., regional director of the IAS; Chito de los Santos, executive officer of the Directorate for Research and Development (DRD); Van Luspo, director of the PNP Computer Service; and Jaime Milla, chief of the Security Agency Group and Supervision Division, are now chief superintendents.
Senior Superintendent Roberto Rosales was granted a special promotion to one-star general for leading the conduct of several successful anti-drug operations and for effecting the arrest of Calabarzons most wanted criminal during his stint as director of the Quezon Police Provincial Office.
