Fire hits Medical Plaza

Fire razed the Medical Plaza building in Makati City early yesterday, resulting in damage to property worth P200,000.
No casualties and injuries were reported in the hour-long fire which damaged portions of the administration office at the mezzanine of the ground floor.
Arson investigators have yet to determine the actual cause of the fire which started at around 8:05 a.m.
"The fire only reached the first alarm and was declared under control at 8:44 a.m. It was declared out at 9 a.m.," Fire Officer 1 Christine Corcino told The Star.
The 19-storey high Medical Plaza building is located at the corner of Amorsolo and De la Rosa Streets in Legazpi Village, Makati City right behind the Makati Medical Center (MMC).
