"The shooting of Roberto Ramoya was well planned," Superintendent Procopio Lipana, chief of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Criminal Investigation Division said.
Reports indicated that Ramoya, a studio cameraman for ABS-CBNs Magandang Umaga Pilipinas program, also runs a money lending business.
The victim was about to board his vehicle parked Along Sgt. Esguerra street at about 6:45 p.m. last Wednesday when one of two men riding tandem on a motorcycle shot him twice.
Ramoya, who was hit in the right nape and arm, was declared dead upon arrival at the East Avenue Medical Center in Quezon City.
Magandang Umaga Pilipinas host Julius Babao said Ramoya was a former security guard who was promoted to studio cameraman.
"He was a jolly man," Babao said during yesterdays TV program.
