Pasig residents want more mobile passport service
November 28, 2005 | 12:00am
Pasig City residents are clamoring for the setting up of more mobile passport service desks in the city.
Mayor Vicente Eusebio said the demand for the service desk of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) came after hundreds of residents in the city trooped to the Pasig City Convention Center to apply for passports or renew old passports last Saturday.
The mobile passport service allows people to apply and renew their passorts in their locality. It saves them time going to the DFA main office in Pasay City.
"We will be holding this passport service from time to time at the Pasig City Convention Center as an added service to our constituents," Eusebio said. Non Alquitran
