QC holds symposium on land ownership

The office of Quezon City Mayor Feliciano Belmonte Jr. and the Real Estate Brokers Association of the Philippines-Quezon City Chapter, led by Lorna Ngo Coyco, announced the holding of a special real estate symposium entitled "Lupat Bahay: Alamin Mo Karapatan Mo" today at the barangay hall of Barangay Tandang Sora, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The symposium is sponsored by Councilor Winnie Castelo, chairman of the committee on subdivision, housing and real estate, in coordination with Barangay Chairman Sabino Apo and the barangay council.
REBAP-QC has been officially appointed by the mayor as a partner in the implementation of the project, which is being implemented in cooperation with the Assessors Office, City Treasurer, City Planning, Subdivision Administration Unit, Land Registration Authority and the Registry of Deeds-Quezon City.
The main objective of this symposium is to give participants a better understanding of acquired information, such as authenticity of the land titles, correct location of properties as described in the titles, tax payments and other information relevant to the program and development of Quezon City.
