A man was arrested by police yesterday after he left his biodata and wallet, complete with his name, photo and address, with the victim he held up in San Juan four days earlier .
Holdup suspect Aris Busito, 21, was arrested by police at a house Mandaluyong City at 8 a.m. after leaving "detailed information" about himself inside the victims car.
PO3 Alric Mactuggal of the San Juan police said he recovered from Busito a mobile phone and a replica of a 9 mm caliber pistol he used to rob his victims.
The suspect, who faces charges of robbery, is now behind bars at a San Juan police station.
Victim Edison Yanzon, a professor at Xavier School, earlier told police that he was driving his Nissan Blue Bird in San Juan on the evening of Oct. 20 when Busito flagged him down.
Yanzon was acquainted with Busito, who had introduced himself to the former as Rolly Pancho. The suspect, a mechanic, once fixed the victims car.
When Yanzon stopped the car, Busito poked a gun at him and got on the vehicle.
The suspect ordered Yanzon to withdraw money from an ATM machine because the victim had no cash at that time.
After getting P18,000 from the machine, the two proceeded to the victims house. Once inside, Yanzon saw an opportunity and kicked the suspect. He rushed to one of the rooms, locked the door and shouted for help.
When Yanzon looked out the window, he saw Busito leaving the compound with two unidentified men.
The next day, Yanzons maid found the suspects wallet and his résumé while cleaning her employers car.<
