October 21, 2005 | 12:00am
Some areas of Quezon City and Caloocan will have no water for 12 hours starting at 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Oct. 23.
The water service interruption is due to the insertion of a 300-mm gate valve on the existing 300-mm ACP mainline along Baesa Road near corner Quirino Highway, Quezon City.
Areas that will have no water for 12 hours are the following: In Caloocan City, areas along Baesa Road (Quezon City-Caloocan Boundary-Reparo) and lateral streets; along Reparo Extension (Baesa-NDR) and lateral streets; and along Reparo Road (Baesa-Tullahan Road) and lateral streets.
In Quezon City, affected areas are Caroline Subdivision and Jordan Ville Subdivision. The repair and maintenance are part of Maynilads continuing program to upgrade and improve its water service to its customers in the West Zone.
