P250,000 reward for Wang capture

The family of the boy who was kidnapped last February has put up a P250,000 reward for information that would lead to the arrest of Suzette Wang.

The Philippine National Police is hunting down Wang, alleged girlfriend of former congressman and actor Dennis Roldan, who faces kidnap-for-ransom charges.

Last July 31, a Pasig City court issued an arrest warrant against Wang, 31, after finding probable cause in the case filed against her and Roldan (Mitchell Gumabao in real life) for the Feb. 9 kidnapping of a three-year-old boy.

Earlier, the court issued a hold-departure order against Wang, who remains at large.

Roldan and his co-accused — Noel San Andres, Rowena San Andres, Romeo Orcajada and Adrian Domingo — have pleaded "not guilty" to the charges during their arraignment on Aug. 2.

The actor also petitioned for bail, saying the prosecution had no strong evidence to link him to the crime. Roldan is currently detained at the Pasig City Jail.

The court has allowed another suspect in the case, Octavio Garces, to stay at the PNP Custodial Service after he testified that Roldan and Wang masterminded the kidnapping.
