Some areas of Caloocan and Quezon City will have no water for 20 hours starting at 11 p.m., tomorrow, Aug.3, until 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 4.
The water service interruption is due to the installation of a Full Bore Flowmeter on the existing 600-mm ACP mainline along A. Bonifacio near corner Sto. Cristo, Quezon City.
The areas that will have no water for 20 hours are the following:
In Caloocan: portion of East Grace Park bounded by Rizal Avenue, EDSA, A. Bonifacio Avenue and 10th Avenue and portion of Morning Breeze bounded by McArthur Highway, Lanzones, Tirad Pass, NDR and EDSA.
In Quezon City: portion of Barangay Balingasa along Sto. Cristo St. and A. Bonifacio Avenue.
Areas that will have low pressure to no water, on the other hand, include: portion of East Grace Park bounded by Rizal Avenue, 9th Avenue, A. Bonifacio and 8th Avenue; and portion of Morning Breeze bounded by McArthur Highway, Zapote, NDR and EDSA, in Caloocan City.
Repair and maintenance are part of Maynilads continuing program to upgrade and improve its water service to its customers in the West Zone.
Affected customers are advised to store water good for the duration of the water service interruption.
They may also call Maynilad Water Hotline 1626 or text Maynilad through Smart 7001626 for the water-rationing schedule.
