5 drug offenders nabbed in Valenzuela

Anti-narcotics agents arrested five drug offenders during a buy-bust operation before dawn yesterday in Valenzuela City.
Police identified the suspects as Lydia Valdez, 34; Liza Estrella, 25; Crizelda Escota, 21; all residents of 614 Valdez st., Paso de Blas, Valenzuela City; and Rodrigo Borillo, 30, of 165 Bagbaguin, Caloocan City and Cristobal Naranjo, 27, a resident of Domingo Compound, Barangay Maysan, Valenzuela City.
At around 2 a.m., the police stations Anti-Illegal Drugs-Special Operations Unit (SAID-SOU), headed by Senior Inspector Loida Bondoc, received information that an alleged pusher was conducting an illegal activity on Valdez st. in Paso de Blas.
A team headed by Senior Inspector Carlos Simbol was dispatched to the area to conduct a buy-bust operation.
PO1 Jesus Pineda acted as a buyer and the operatives were able to apprehend Valdez while reportedly in the act of handing Pineda a sachet of shabu. Pete Laude
