Charges filed vs abs-cbn directors killer

Police filed homicide, multiple homicide and assault charges against the killer of an ABS-CBN director in Makati City.
Charged before the Makati City prosecutors office last Friday was Oliver Perez, believed to be a scion of a prominent family and who remains in hiding.
Chief Superintendent Wilfredo Garcia, director of the Southern Police District (SPD) said the homicide charges was for the killing of Luis "Luigi" Santiago, 24, a director of a TV series in ABS-CBN.
The multiple homicide charges were for the wounding of six other persons while the charge for assault upon a person in authority with attempted homicide was for the wounding of Senior Inspector Merquiodi Bodanio, the deputy commander of the Police Community Precinct 6 of the Makati City police.
Garcia said the Makati City police, which filed the cases, forwarded to the prosecutors office the statements of 15 witnesses to the incident, including that of Bodanio and his fellow police officer, PO2 Adrian Tibor, who were at the crime scene.
The other witnesses were Santiagos companions and waiters and other workers of the Venezia Bar in Glorietta 2 where the incident happened.
