-
Four people, including a 14-year-old student, were hurt in a car accident on Quezon Avenue and a multiple vehicle collision at the corner of Araneta Avenue and E. Rodriguez Avenue, police said yesterday.

A traffic report identified two of the victims in the smash-up as Joseph Dupaya, 14, a resident of Tatalon; Albert Mendoza, 21, a tricycle driver and resident of San Francisco del Monte.

According to a report from the Central Police District traffic sector, truck driver Roman Paquit lost control of his 10-wheeler (TWT 967) at 9:45 p.m. last Tuesday, triggering a six-vehicle smashup in the area.

Among the vehicles involved in the collision were three tricycles, a taxi and a parked Toyota Revo.

Dupaya was seriously injured in the accident and was rushed with two other victims to the National Orthopedic Hospital for treatment.

In another incident, Eugene Renan, 24, was seriously injured when his Honda Civic rammed a barrier. Perseus Echemenida
