Shigekazu Morikawa died on the spot after landing on concrete pavement, sustaining serious head and body injuries.
Reports from the Makati Police Department (MPD) said the incident happened at around 5:25 a.m. along Sanchez corner Bautista and Tordesillas streets in Salcedo Village, Barangay Bel-Air.
Morikawa allegedly jumped from the 33rd floor of the Regent Building, a condominium, where he also resides specifically at Room 3305.
He was found dead by one Jorge Evangelista, a security guard, who immediately alerted MPD authorities about the incident.
Police Officer 2 Roderick Rodriguez has been tasked to investigate the homicide in an effort to determine if there was foul play involved. – Michael Punongbayan
