NCRPO to honor dedicated cops

Five active policemen and two non-uniformed personnel will be among the awardees and honorees during the 14th anniversary celebration of the National Capital Region Police Office tomorrow.

Director Avelino Razon Jr. leads the 15,000-strong personnel of the NCRPO in the celebration, where he will assist Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Edgar Aglipay in honoring Superintendent Ericson Velasquez of the Eastern Police District as Best Senior PCO for Administration, Superintendent Benigno Durana Jr. of RIID/PACER as Best Senior PCO for Operation, Chief Inspector Lino Banaag of the Central Police District as Best Junior PCO, SPO1 Charlino Corpuz (EPD) as Best Senior PNCO, PO3 Hector de Veyra (CPD) as Best Junior PNCO, Elma Flores of Southern Police District as Best Non-Uniformed Personnel Supervisory Category and Lauren Gail Polintang (CPD) as Best Non-Uniformed Personnel Non-Supervisory Category.

Razon will also inaugurate the NCRPO campsite lounge, covered pathway and stairs and the Day-Care Center which are all located inside the regional headquarters of the Metro Manila police force.

Special commendations will also be bestowed on Maj. Gen. Allan Cabalquinto of the NCR Command-Armed Forces of the Philippines, Director Josefina Rigor of the DPWH, lawyer Emilio Salumbides, Maria Elena Bautista of the LTFRB, Edu Manzano of the Optical Media Board, Robert Nacianceno of the MMDA, Corazon Davis of the DENR, Dr. Gerardo Bayugo of the DOH and Senior Superintendnet Orlando Mabutas of the PDEA. – Nestor Etolle
