3 hurt in San Juan PUJ robbery

A woman is in critical condition while her father and another passenger were wounded when they tried to fight off three armed robbers inside a jeepney robbery in San Juan yesterday.
Police said Ximary Rafael, 21, of Sto. Niño street, Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City sustained a gunshot wound in the head.
She is now fighting for her life at the UERM hospital.
Rafaels father, Romeo, 54, was shot in the face while Ronald Espinosa, 22, was stabbed in the chest.
Doctors declared them out of danger.
The San Juan police are now hunting down the three suspects.
Initial investigation showed that the victims were on board a passenger jeepney bound for Cubao, Quezon City when the three suspects took out a handgun and a bladed weapon then announced a heist at the corner of Aurora Boulevard and A. Luna street in Barangay Balong Bato at about 1:20 a.m.
Witnesses said the victims tried to fight off the robbers, prompting them to shoot.
The robbers fled after taking Espinosas bag containing personal belongings. Non Alquitran
