Salvage victim dumped on Malabon creek

-
The body of an unidentified man was found floating in a creek in Malabon City on Saturday afternoon.

The victim, estimated to be between 35 and 40 years old, has a lone stab wound in the right side of the body. Both his hands were also tied on his back with a nylon cord while his mouth was gagged with a towel.

Malabon City Police Community Precinct 3 operatives PO1 Anthony Tulliao and PO1 Gilbert Montero said that the bloated body was found floating on a creek along Lapu-Lapu Avenue in Barangay Longos at around 5:40 p.m. He was described as about 5’7" in height with a scar on the right face, wearing black short pants and white T-shirt with "Tri-Mark Distribution Inc." markings.

According to the local police the victim could have been executed in another place and was only dumped in Malabon to mislead authorities.

The victim’s body was brought yesterday to the police crime laboratory for autopsy. Pete Laude
