Fire hits QC drug warehouse, apartment

A 32-year-old man was injured while millions worth of goods and property were destroyed in separate fire incidents in Quezon City over the weekend.
Victim Johnson Jimeno sustained abrasions and lacerations in different parts of the body after jumping off from the window of his burning apartment at around 3:09 p.m. on Saturday.
The blaze that hit the apartment located at the corner of Scout Gandia and Scout Tuazon streets was contained at around 4:55 p.m.
At around 11:20 p.m. of the same day, another fire broke out at the Save More Drug warehouse located at Don Jose St., Don Antonio Heights II Subdivision, Bgy. Holy Spirit.
Fire investigators at the Central Fire Department on Agham Road said the fire destroyed millions worth of drug items and property.
Fortunately, no one was reported hurt in the incident.
Firemen declared the fire out at around 10:26 a.m. yesterday.
Probers are still investigating the twin incidents separately.
