Twin Marines terrorize PUJ drivers in Makati

Twin brothers, both assigned at the Philippine Marines, allegedly went amuck at a jeepney terminal early yesterday morning in Makati City, injuring two people.

Authorities identified the suspects as 38-year-old Arnel Navalta and Arnold Navalta, both Marine 1st sergeants, assigned at Fort Bonifacio.

They allegedly mauled vendor Jorge Andrada, 36, and driver Romulo Galamay, 43.

Police records showed that the suspects stormed the jeepney terminal in Guadalupe at around 1 a.m. in a military vehicle.

Said to be drunk, the suspects also fired their caliber .45 pistols.

They were immediately arrested and are now detained at the Makati police headquarters.

Police are set to file charges of indiscriminate firing and physical injuries against the suspects. – Nikko Dizon
