One dead in SLEX mishap

-
A 47-year-old man was killed while his father was seriously injured yesterday after his car slammed into a concrete barrier along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) in Bicutan, Parañaque City.

Dead on arrival at the South Super Highway Medical Center was Angelito Limbo, of 639 Diamond street, Sucat, Muntinlupa City while his 73-year-old father, identified as Johnny, is still in critical condition, police said.

Prober PO2 Joselito Quila of the Traffic Management Group said father and son were traveling northbound on the SLEX when their Nissan Sentra with licensed plate TDS-316 hit the concrete barrier at around 12:05 a.m.

"The car hit the barrier that separates the expressway and the Skyway on-ramp," said Quila.

Police added that the father, who had just arrived from Los Angeles, California, was seated at the back of the car. – Edu Punay
