Death at a pool hall

A 40-year-man, said to be a political coordinator of Manila Councilor Kim Atienza, was shot dead by two men at a billiard hall in Sta. Ana, Manila the other night.

Killed was Noel Vivas, a resident of 1866 Interior 12 Eloriaga Exterior, Sta. Ana. The victim had 10 gunshot wounds in the body and died on the spot.

The body was taken to the Ilagan Funeral Homes.

Police failed to establish the identities of the gunmen, who managed to escape after the shooting at around 10:30 p.m. inside the victim’s house, which is also a billiard hall.

The gunmen used pistols, a caliber .45 and a 9mm, in shooting the victim.

Investigation disclosed that the victim and the suspects were playing billiards in the hall when they got into a heated argument.

Investigators SPO2 Virgo Villareal said the two men suddenly peppered the victim with bullets and escaped.

Ocular inspection resulted in the recovery of four empty shells and three deformed slugs of a caliber .45 pistol and six empty shells and five deformed slugs of a 9mm from the crime scene. – Cecille Suerte Felipe
