Fifteen commuters were slightly hurt when a public utility bus rammed another bus while on top of the Alabang Viaduct flyover in Muntinlupa City yesterday morning.
Leo Estodillo, communications officer of Skyway Corp., said the eight injured passengers of HM Transport with plate number EVE-434 were taken to South Superhighway Medical ng Parañaque, while the seven commuters of Tritran bus bearing plate number DVJ-536 were brought to the Ospital ng Maynila.
"Nobody was seriously injured. After receiving medical treatment, the doctors sent all 15 passengers home," Estodillo said.
Preliminary investigation showed the incident happened at around 6:05 a.m. The two buses were moving northbound atop the flyover when the Tritran bus was hit from behind by the HM bus.
"It was a good thing that the impact was not that strong and neither of the vehicles fell off the flyover. The passengers just fell from their seats as a result of the impact," Estodillo said. Evelyn Macairan
