Fire hits Quiapo

A fire of still unknown origin broke out at the third floor of a mixed commercial building in Quiapo yesterday.
Fire Officer 3 Oliver Sison said no one was reported hurt in the blaze that took place at a three-story building along Paterno street in Quiapo, Manila.
Arson probers said the building was being used as warehouse for various merchandise.
Sison said the building is located between Evangelista street near Quezon Boulevard, causing traffic congestion in some major thoroughfares leading to the Quiapo church.
The fire broke out at around 2:50 p.m., but firefighters managed to contain the blaze at around 4 p.m. Cecille Suerte Felipe
