A traffic re-routing scheme will be implemented today in streets within the Qurino Grandstand in Luneta for the staging of the Department of Tourism-sponsored "WOW! Kapistahang Sayaw Pilipino," a street dance festival and contest.
Based on the planned traffic re-routing of the Western District Traffic Enforcement Office (WDTEO), the southern lane of Roxas Boulevard from Katigbak Drive to President Quirino Avenue will be closed temporarily to vehicular traffic beginning at 1:30 p.m.
All light vehicles coming from Pier Zone/ Katigbak Drive, Manila City Hall, P. Burgos are advised to take the northbound (counter flow) of Roxas Boulevard from P. Burgos to Pres. Quirino Ave. and likewise proceed southbound of Pres. Quirino to reach their point of destination.
All trucks coming from Bonifacio Drive/ Pier Zone are advised to turn left at P. Burgos to Ayala Boulevard and then turn right at San Marcelino to reach their point of destination.
Meanwhile, vehicles coming from south of Manila should turn right to P. Ocampo (Vito Cruz) or Pres. Quirino, then left to Mabini or Leveriza and Taft Avenue.
Participants and spectators could park along over the sidewalk of Bonifacio Drive, P. Burgos and T.M. Kalaw.
A single parking scheme will be allowed along the soutbound portion of Roxas Boulevard. Nestor Etolle
