Man dies in motel

A 60-year-old man died while watching a horror movie with his girlfriend inside a motel in Malate, Manila.
Police said the victim Geronimo Yu, trader from Cebu City, was already dead when brought to the Ospital ng Maynila after suffering from heart attack.
Investigation conducted by SPO1 David Tuazon of the Western Police District-Homicide Section said the incident took place at around 12 a.m. Wednesday inside Anito Lodge in Malate.
Prior to the incident, Tuazon reported that Yu and his 20-year-old partner checked in for a three-hour stay.
Police said the two were ushered into Room 224, where the victim took a bath and later watched the horror movie "The Haunted."
Minutes later, the girl said the victim started to tremble and had difficulty breathing.
She told probers that she tried to revive the victim but failed, prompting her to call for assistance from the room boys.
The victim was immediately taken to the hospital but doctors failed to save him. Cecille Suerte Felipe, Nestor Etolle
