Cop loses car inside mall parking area

A police officer assigned at the National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) lost his car the other day inside the parking area of a shopping mall in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
Police Officer 2 Santiago Roldan said the victim, PO2 Conrado Duran, 34, of 34 RMT Complex, Tunasan, Muntinlupa, lost his semi-stainless jeep with license plates VAW 157 at around 3:30 p.m.
Probers said Duran parked his vehicle at the first level parking lot of the Metropolis Shopping Mall. However, when he returned to the parking lot, his jeep was already missing.
Roldan said he reported the incident to the security officers of the mall, who told him that he was the eighth victim of car theft in the establishment.
Police said the case has been forwarded to the anti-carnapping unit for follow-up investigation.
