Resto attacker killed

A deranged man wearing a hood was shot dead by a restaurant owner after the intruder attacked the eaterys waitress with a screwdriver last Monday night in Sta. Cruz, Manila.
The unidentified attacker was described as about 30 years old, at least 56 in height, of medium built, white complexion and sporting a military haircut and moustache. He was clad in short maong pants, a white T-shirt and wearing a pair of slippers. No identification papers were recovered from him.
SPO4 Alfredo Salazar said the attacker died on the spot inside the kitchen of the restaurant owned by Jimmy Castillo, 30, who reportedly gunned down the suspect.
The restaurant lone stay-in waitress, 20-year-old Gaira Manzalayaw, is now under observation at the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center due to three stab wounds and a gunshot wound from a stray bullet. Nestor Etolle, Edu Punay
