Fire hits duplex in QC

-
Millions of pesos worth of properties turned into ashes after a fire razed a row of houses in Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City late yesterday afternoon.

Initial reports reaching the Central District Fire Department in Agham Road said the fire started at around 5:25 p.m. in a duplex-type bungalow at Capitol Bliss Homes owned by a certain Urbano Valera.

The fire was contained about an hour later with the fire alarm reaching Task Force Bravo, firemen said. At least three houses were affected by the blaze.

Arson investigators are now conducting a probe to determine the cause of the fire. — Katherine Adraneda
