One dead, 3 hurt in road mishap

One person was killed while three others were hurt when a taxi and a private vehicle were involved in a road mishap in Parañaque City yesterday morning.
Police Officer 2 Alipio Dimaano of the Parañaque City Traffic Unit said fatality Reynaldo Cloa, a resident of Bacoor, Cavite died while receiving treatment at the Ospital ng Maynila in Manila City.
Initial investigation disclosed the two vehicles collided at the corner of Roxas Boulevard and Airport Road in Baclaran, Parañaque City at 5 a.m.
Cloa was the passenger of the taxi (TWK-568) driven by Juanito Pulilio, 52, a resident of Perpetual Village in Taguig.
The other vehicle was a Mitsubishi Lancer (ADZ-975) driven by Jay dela Cruz, 25, of Pasay City. His younger brother Allan, 24, was on the passenger seat.
PO2 Dimaano said the brothers and taxi driver were also taken to the Ospital ng Maynila. As of press time, only the elder De la Cruz has been discharged from the hospital. Pamela Samia
