Police identified the victim as Masami Nakamura, 42, and a resident of Villa España Subdivision in Barangay Tatalon.
Reports reaching the Central Police District-Criminal Investigation Unit (CPD-CIU) revealed that Nakamura arrived home about 12:45 p.m. after fetching his wife, Voleta, from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
While in the process of unloading her baggage and boxes from his vehicle, a pick-up truck, suddenly stopped in front of his house. One of the three suspects on board stepped out and poked a gun at Nakamura.
The suspects then divested him of cash in various denominations, jewelry and other items.
The robbers even took Nakamuras Ford Expedition (WRZ-159), which lawmen later found abandoned t Home Centrum Subdivision in Mapulang Lupa, Valenzuela City.
Investigators said that the suspects belong to a group which targets arriving foreigners from the airport, tail their vehicles and rob them once they reach home.
