Stepping on a childs foot proved fatal for a 21-year-old jobless man, who was stabbed to death by the boys father and uncle the other day in Quezon City.
Nelson Salcedo, 21, of H-176 San Roque II Brgy. Bagong Pag-asa, Quezon City, died instantly due to four stab wounds in different parts of the body.
Operatives of the Central Police District (CPD) arrested the boys uncle, Danilo Tacaban, 23, security guard of Alert Security Agency.
Tacaban is now detained at the CPD Criminal Criminal Investigation Unit (CIU) and awaiting charges of homicide. Police is still hunting down the boys father, Eugenio Tacaban, 22, a pedicab driver, who fled after the incident.
Investigation showed that the victim was playing video game inside a video arcade in Barangay Pag-asa when the suspects stabbed him with a dagger.
The suspects were reportedly angered when Eugenios three-year-old son told his father that the victim accidentally stepped on his foot. A heated argument followed, which later led to the killing of Salcedo. Pia Lee Brago
