Nine-foot python does an Al-Ghozi
July 30, 2003 | 12:00am
A nine-foot long python is being hunted down by tanods in Quezon City after it managed to escape from a barangay hall, where it was earlier taken after being found dangling from a tree the other night.
The python was discovered by patrolling barangay tanods of Barangay Commonwealth on Palanay street. The snake was placed inside a sack and brought to the second floor of the barangay hall.
Barangay officials were supposed to turn over the python to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources yesterday, but to their surprise, the sack was ripped and empty. Katherine Andraneda
