The suspects were arrested by joint elements of the NCIDG, Malabon City police Drug Enforcement Unit and the civilian volunteers against crime at around 6:30 p.m. inside Benido’s residence while reportedly in the act of sniffing shabu.

Police seized from the suspects two sachets of shabu, three lighters, an improvised tooter, aluminum foil and other shabu sniffing paraphernalia.

The suspects are now detained at the NCIDG detention cell. Charges will be filed against them today at the Malabon City fiscal’s office. – Pete Laude
