Guards tagged in bank rob

Two security guards working on the night shift have been tagged by the police as the suspects in the robbery of an Allied Bank branch in Valenzuela City yesterday.
Nothern Police District Office (NPDO) director Chief Superintendent Marcelino Franco Jr., quoting initial police reports said the banks branch at Paso de Blas was robbed at around 5 p.m. by the still unidentified guards.
The two suspects allegedly sped away with a still undetermined amount on board an armored vehicle after the branch cashier threw a bag containing cash collections. Both suspects pulled off the heist by threatening to harm the bank officer.
Valenzuela police chief Superintendent Jose Marcelo declined to provide more details so as not to jeopardize pursuit operations being conducted by his men. Jerry Botial
