Naughty neighbor

A 33-year-old man was arrested after he was caught molesting a 13-year-old neighbor in Pasig City the other day.

The suspect, identified as Joselito Navarro, married, and a resident of 47-D Bolante I, Pasig was detained at the Pasig City police station and is now facing acts of lascivious charges.

Navarro was arrested by patrolling barangay officers in their community upon the calls of his neighbors right after he was said to have molested the victim.

In her complaint to the police, the victim said that she was walking in front of the house of the suspect at around 5 p.m. last Friday when he suddenly grabbed her and quickly dragged her inside his house.

Inside, the victim said the suspect started to kiss her and molest her. Fortunately, another neighbor identified as Lito Cajudo, who heard the victim’s cries for help, barged inside the house, stopping the suspect. – Rainier Allan Ronda
