Joseph de los Reyes, married and a resident of Quezon City, died on the spot when his Toyota Revo (XAV-846) crashed straight into a wall inside the tunnel.
The van was on the southbound lane of the tunnel from Ayala Avenue headed toward Pasay Road when it hit the concrete wall at 4:28 a.m. yesterday.
The actual cause of the accident has not yet been determined as the investigation is still being conducted by the Southern Police District-Traffic Enforcement Unit.
