Cocaine buy-bust

Agents of the Philippines Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) have arrested a suspected supplier of cocaine following an entrapment operation in Pasig City.
Arrested was Benson Gerard del Rosario, 29, of 40 Oliva street, Valle Verde IV, Pasig City.
PDEA Director General Anselmo Avenido said Del Rosario was arrested along Ruby street, Ortigas Center after selling 20 grams of cocaine to a PDEA agent for P80, 000.
According to Avenido, Del Rosario tried to evade arrest by locking himself inside his car a green Audi (MSR 123) after sensing it was a police sting.
PDEA agents had to smash the glass window of the car to get him. A search on the vehicle yielded another plastic sachet containing a similar yellowish substance, also believe to be cocaine, weighing one gram.
The suspect is currently detained at the PDEA detention cell in Camp Crame. Jaime Laude
