Four cops face homicide raps

Four Manila policemen are now facing criminal charges for the killing of two suspected Harurot Gang members who were shot dead inside the Western Police District headquarters the other day.
To be charged with homicide before the Manila Prosecutors Office are SPO1 Maurito Reniendo, PO1 Florentino Raquino Jr., PO1 Jefferson Britanico and PO1 Michael John Pornilos.
Investigators-on-case PO1 Romel del Rosario and PO1 Jericho Jimenez said they decided to file the charges based on the initial investigation after the shooting incident that took place at around 7:45 a.m.
"Were not saying that they are all guilty of the charges. Its up to the prosecutor to decide on the plight of the four policemen," said Del Rosario.
Suspects Roel de la Rosa and Rafael Cordero were gunned down after they allegedly grabbed guns from two officers and fired at them. Cecille Suerte Felipe
